Short version: Tunora does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Your audio files and library data stay entirely on your device.

1 Data We Collect

Tunora does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, phone number, government ID, or payment details.

Tunora does not intentionally collect browsing history, website content, location data, authentication credentials, health data, or personal communications.

2 Local Data Storage

To provide its core functionality, the extension stores user-selected audio files and related playback metadata locally in the browser using IndexedDB. This includes:

This data is stored on the user's own device inside the extension's local storage area. It is not uploaded to any server because Tunora does not operate a backend service for user data. Users can remove all stored library data at any time through the extension interface.

3 Permissions and Access

Tunora requests only permissions required for its single purpose of local audio playback. The extension does not request broad host access to websites for normal playback operation.

The content script used for the floating overlay operates within the extension's declared permissions and does not read or transmit page content.

4 Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell user data. We do not transfer user data to third parties except where required by applicable law. We do not use or transfer user data for advertising, profiling, or credit/lending eligibility decisions.

5 Remote Code

Tunora does not use remote code execution. All JavaScript is packaged with the extension and does not rely on externally hosted scripts, eval(), or dynamic code loading from remote servers.

6 Security

We use reasonable measures consistent with browser extension architecture to reduce unnecessary data access. However, no software can guarantee absolute security.

7 Children's Privacy

Tunora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be made available at the same published URL with an updated effective date.
